What does "the American People need to wake up" really mean?

You read it all the time people need to wake up? But to what? There is many forces working against our personnel freedom. Many of you might even support some of the rights stealing proposals such as the Endangered species act. We all want to leave this planet in better shape then we found it for our children and grand children.  But let us take a look at the Spotted Owl. You see the communist wanted to destroy this government from within. No better way then to trick the people into believing they are helping to save some fake endangered species.  Fake endangered species? This may sound a little extreme but please hear me out.
 
Let me explain; I have been studying nature for 40 years I understand how the complex eco system works. All animals need the basic for their survival just like us Food, water, shelter.  But what is reality. You see trees drink water the more trees the less water for animals. Because of lack of logging in parts of the west where the spotted owl or Mexican spotted owl lives the natural ancient water springs where they get water have been drying up. Why too many trees. In fact when the head of the Forest service was question in front of Congress last year to explain why there was so many forest fires his response. We have too many trees. Some area 2 to 3 times more trees then the land can support.  You see this is not complex at all. Break it down with today science we can harvest and replant a forest to the correct amount of trees.
 
Now let us apply some common sense to the spotted owl. What does the spotted owl eat? Mice and small rodents. What is the mice best habitat? What does the mice need to survive and multiply? Same thing food, water, and shelter right?
 
Now what happens to an area that is logged? Oh no, logging  is devastating, man is destroying the land, right?. See the sound bite you look at a picture of a clear cut and think this is simple. Wrong this is where you need to study reality. Because over the next few years Mother nature in her supreme wisdom takes what looks like a disaster and replenishes it with growth. New underbrush open space with plenty of sunlight means more food and cover for mice, less trees means more water, this is habitat for all kinds of animals. The number one animal is mice. Mice increase in numbers spotted owl nest survival rate increases and soon it not and endangered species. Just happen to be one heck of a way to increase rabbits, grouse deer and elk too. Why? Because large forest are barren of large numbers of wildlife due to the fact the forage is to high to reach and the low brush can not get enough sunlight to grow. The end results all the Animal lose and move out of the area. Not to mention the forest become so dense with trees drinking all the water they become a huge tinder box waiting for a spark. Hence more forest fires.
 
Pretty amazing facts when you are allowed to see the whole picture. Mother Nature is design for man to benefit from her. That is the understanding of living in harmony with the land. You don't abuse you use it wisely.
 
Now I come up to the biggest fairy tale of all predators are needed to balance the eco system. While it is true predator help keep a balance of nature. But they are not magically animals and stay in perfect balance with the land. What happens is called a 17 year cycle. First the elk-deer-moose or main prey species of the predator become high in numbers this increase in food for the predators like the wolves. The wolf population will increase to the point of wiping out the elk-deer-moose the wolf population without enough food die from starvation. That is it in a nutshell nothing complex and hard to understand. The only problem  is we now have wolves near populated areas. What do you think starving wolves do? They attack livestock's, dogs and then humans. You see in the predator world you are either top predator to be feared or you are prey to be eaten. There is no in between gray area. When man doesn't stand up to the predator and teach by hunting to avoid humans then humans become prey. It is really that simple

Wolf pack kills woman

A pack of wolves killed a woman in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia in the third attack in a month, leading authorities to hand out weapons to locals for self-defence.

"We are putting Kakheti on high alert," Gov. Gia Chalatashvili said Friday in televised comments.

"Residents will be given guns and ammunition to defend themselves. Police will also be involved."

The woman's remains were discovered Friday in the village of Giorgitsminda, about 40 kilometres from the capital Tbilisi, the Imedi television station reported.
The woman had been missing for several days.

Several villages in Kakheti have reported wolf attacks on livestock and humans in the last month, Chalatashvili said. About two weeks ago, the animals savaged a woman in the village of Pirosmani, seriously injuring her throat.

My comments. Ok let us just think about this for one minute in common sense rational thoughts. The Russian government is giving out guns and ammunition for self defense against wolves right? Therefore common sense dictates that wolves are real threat to humans and people need to be armed to protect themselves from attack. Simple to follow right?

Maybe I woke up in Oz but why is the America government releasing dangerous animals like the wolves next to people houses, children bus stops, and cattle ranchers? Why are they trying to take our guns away? Which country is home of the free and land of the brave?

Oct 30th Mr.Jenson 4 year old son died daughter injured. The wolves had attacked several people along the road. But on Oct 30th a dread day for the Parents. They heard the terrifying screams of their young children. The father armed with a shotgun raced to help. He was to late his 4 year old son was torn to pieces and dead. The pack was now working on his 6 year daughter and he was able to drive them off saving her. She had several scratches and bites on her arms from fighting off the vicious wolves.

That was over a 100 years ago the new wolves have watched Disney and no longer attack people you may be thinking. Right?

Now what does this all have to with survival, trapping, and snaring? Glad you ask. If people are going to be returning to the land to survive the coming Great Depression II they need to understand reality. Wolves can wipe out a small homestead, livestock, dogs and even people. Kind of throws out all the myths of the big friendly wolves doesn't it.

Now the same people that are bankrupting American and causing the Great Depression II just happen to be in full support of the wolves and have blocked any reasonable hunting or trapping season on them? That Includes Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin even though in every state listed the wolves have recovered from the endangered list in 2002 and are no longer an endangered species? The high dollar lawyers employed by the anti human pro wolf lover have blocked all wolf controls with law suits. What is the end result? Food control kind of hard to survive the Great Depression II with all the deer,elk, and moose being wipe out by wolves isn't it? Kind of hard to survive in a small homestead if the wolves are wiping out your chickens, geese, turkeys cows and pigs right?

Before I get the normal  response from readers base on emotions instead of facts "all you want to do is wipe out the wolves"  I have never said wipe out the wolves. In order for man to live next to wolves there is only one way for it to be reasonable. You have to allow the people the right to protect their livestock, dogs, and children from wolves. According to Dr. David Mech the top wolf expert in the US Fish and Wildlife service wolves can be harvest at 35-50% each and every year and they will be wolves in the wild for the next 10,000 years. You see just like the forest the predators need to be harvested not exterminated. This allows for a healthy eco system and helps the wolves overall. By keeping the wolves numbered hunted they break up and spread out that equal less disease. Less wolves means easier for the surviving wolves to survive winter less competition for food. But this allows the deer-elk-and moose to survive and the most important point to have young in the spring that survive to adulthood.

What happens to predator when man does not control them? One disease that is truly from nightmares and take months for the animal to die from is Mange. Here is a picture of what a coyote looks like with mange.

The poor coyote died after months of slowly loosing all of his fur.  Mange is a parasite that is passed from animal to animal it lives under the skin causing the animal to itch and bite. Slowly piece by piece that animal loose his/her fur until it dies of exposure. This is how Mother nature cures predator over population. So when people say let nature take it course understand that you are condemning the animals to die this long slow horrible death. Mange is common in coyotes, fox and can be passed to wolves.

When predators are hunted, trapped, nature stays in balance. Mange will quickly clear up in the area if enough of the predators are harvested each year. Once in balance with the land you rarely see mange in predators. When man no longer does his role in nature of keeping the animals in balance nature will do her part and clean up the over population. How the animals die in this slow brutal process is up to man. They can be humanely hunted and trapped or dies slowly from disease and starvation. It is called reality and it is time for America wakes up to the facts.
