What is wrong with America
Misguided people and fools are
running around collecting money for
wolves. These same wolves are stalking children, killing dogs and
forcing small independent ranchers out of business. Mean while people
need help are ignored because the wolves are more important to the
misguided animal lovers. Bread Lines Seen in California Saturday, 07 Mar 2009, 1:33 PM EST By ANTHONY BARTKEWICZ, MyFox National Defenders of Wildlife is running around trying to collect money to sue the Federal Government to stop a wolf hunting season. What does this mean? If they collect enough money then you the tax payer has to pay to defend against the law suit. Not only that but now the Feral dog danger is rising through the roof because people are dumping their dogs in the country.
Right on key after I first said dogs are going to be a problem I start hearing about people dumping dogs. Therefore I did a search.

It is illegal to abandon a pet, and if the person gets caught, they could be fined and even face some jail time. This Monday, dogs were dumped in the Kings Crossing Subdivision and left to fend for...

There were 31,492 dogs and cats taken in by the shelter last year - a 13 percent jump from 2007. Of those, nearly half - 15,265 - were killed, a 31 percent increase. Of the estimated 6 million to 8 million dogs and cats sent to animal shelters in the United States every year, half are now euthanized.

In The Man Who Talks to Dogs (Thomas Dunne Books), a biography of Grim,
author Melinda Roth shares a poignant example of the wrenching
ineptness of street dogs. While roaming around a decaying warehouse
area where a dog pack lived, Grim pointed out piles of dead pigeons.
The starving dogs had stalked and killed the birds, and piled them up
as if for a banquet, but, Grim said, the dogs were never able to figure
out how to get through the feathers to the meat.
Now because of all the people that are against wearing fur the coyote population is exploding out of control and people are getting attacked.

It appears our urban friends are being introduced to wildlife. Adults and children are attacked and pets are killed. It's interesting to note the public's reaction and the elected officials actions (killing coyotes.) Perhaps the urbanites will reconsider their support for predators in rural areas, which is having similar impacts on rural families. One big difference is the livelihood of the rural folks is also threatened.

How important is the small independent ranchers and farmers in the Great Depression II? Think about the more independent food producers we have a stronger, free America is only Common sense.
http://www.madison.com/tct/opinion/column/440669: As more farmers face bankruptcy, we all face a food emergency. European farmers speak from thousands of years of experience on the importance of family farms when they warn us, "Any time a country neglects its family farm base and allows it to become financially bankrupt, the entire economy of that country will soon collapse. It may take generations to rebuild the farm economy and that of the country."
I really can not stress enough the vital importance of having the knowledge to trap and snare. If you plan on going out in the woods to survive at a small hobby farm, small town, a retreat. You are going to have to snare and trap these out of control animals. It is the only way it is going to work. You can't raise livestock, chickens, pigs, rabbits nothing without having the means to protect them. Let us apply some common sense to this wolves, coyotes and feral dogs are a problem already what is going to happen when things get really bad? Are you going to stay awake 24-7 guarding your livestock? Even with traps and snares guarding your place it only gives you a chance to survive.
Time to start thinking America We must protect our food source[s] at all costs.
